Transhumanism - Science Fiction or Just Today's Science?

The following article by Michael Berger at NanoWERK discusses the ethical, legal, and societal implications (ELSI) of nanotechnology. It falls into place with the discovery of nanoworms, see the article on the WALL. Please read the article and take note of the points raised by Dr. Gregor Wolbring. What the article doesn't mention is that Gregor is in a wheelchair with significant disabilities, including no legs and very minimal use of only one hand. How does knowing about Gregor's condition change your thoughts as you read the article? Does he make solid points? How should scientists deal with these challenges?
